After nearly 20 years, it's time to say goodbye to my 1981 Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5. The car that defined a chapter of my life. This is the final drive, and the full story. Over the years, this Italian classic evolved from a good Alfa Romeo GTV6 into the car you see today through extensive restoration, mechanical development and continuous care. In this video, I take the GTV6 on what may be one of our final drives together. Along the way, I reflect on almost two decades of ownership, the memories attached to this classic Alfa Romeo, and why the time has come to let it go. Life changes. With a young family and a new Alfa Romeo 75 restoration project waiting in the wings, opportunities to properly enjoy the GTV6 have become increasingly rare.
