Don't Be Scammed By Bile Salts

Feel free to come at me in the comments here but it seems to be a misconception on YouTube that you need to take bile salts if you have had a cholecystectomy. In this video I talk about the process of bile formation in the liver. The role of the gallbladder in bile metabolism, and explain why bile salts are never necessary. Some of my viewers do find that bile salts are helpful for them, and I would encourage those people to have a subjective experience of improvement to take them, but as someone who treats patients regularly with biliary pathology my recommendation is to save your money and not take bile salts.
