Dutch people are flocking to the Emigration Fair at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht this weekend. Over 16,000 visitors came to the fair to explore options for emigration or purchasing a second home abroad. That number is significantly higher than last year, when approximately 13,000 people visited the fair. According to Fair Manager Sterre van de Kerkhof, the growth can be partly explained by the current high housing prices in the Netherlands, causing more and more people to turn their attention to foreign countries.
