The Agulhas Negras Military Academy (AMAN), located in Resende (RJ), was the stage for one of the most significant events on the Brazilian military calendar: the 2024 Aspirantship Ceremony, which celebrated the completion of the training cycle for the new officers of the Brazilian Army. The journey of these young people began in February 2020, with their entry into the Army Cadet Preparatory School (EsPCEx), in Campinas (SP). After five years of challenges, intense studies, and rigorous training, they now conclude their training at AMAN (Military Academy of Agulhas Negras), receiving the title of Bachelor of Military Sciences and beginning their careers as Officer Candidates. Highlights of the Ceremony: November 21st: The Cadets participated in the graduation ceremony, receiving their bachelor's degrees and being recognized for their outstanding intellectual merit. November 23rd: A day full of symbolism, marked by the return of the Espadim (sword), the last use of the blue uniform, and the long-awaited presentation of the Officer's Sword, symbolizing the beginning of a new phase in their military careers. Cadet Gustavo Silva Nascimento, from Goiânia (GO), was the top-ranked cadet in his class and received the Sword from the highest-ranking authority present. Six other cadets were recognized for their outstanding performance in their respective branches and in the Ordnance Corps. Inspiring Speeches and Raw Emotions: The Head of the Army's Department of Education and Culture highlighted the transformative role of AMAN (Military Academy of Agulhas Negras) and EsPCEx (Preparatory School for Army Cadets) in the training of young officers, emphasizing the values ​​of love for the Fatherland, professionalism, and dedication.
