In this video, I present Dr. Ephraim Amu, a renowned Ghanaian music writer and composer. He was an advocate for the preservation of African language and culture. Dr. Amu lived at a time when wearing African attire to preach in the pulpit was considered as lowering the standard of Christianity, and playing African instruments and singing African songs in church were deemed pagan. He challenged and changed the status quo. Enjoy the video!
