The Wild Atlantic Way is a long coastal road that traverses the ocean-washed landscapes of Ireland's west coast. This 2,500-km road extends from the Inishowen Peninsula to Kinsale in County Cork and is dotted with picturesque beaches, imposing cliffs, and ancient monuments. Our journey lasted six days and we traveled "only" the stretch from Ballina to the Cliffs of Moher, also making a few detours inland to admire monuments and national parks, and by sea to visit a couple of islands. In the first video, we showed you the stretch from Ballina to Clifden, and now we're continuing our journey to the famous Cliffs of Moher. We'll begin with a tour of the colorful streets of Clifden before getting back in the car and continuing the stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way that takes us to Galway. But we don't stay long in the city: we take a detour inland to visit the village of Cong, where the Oscar-winning film The Quiet Man was filmed. The next day, we brave the rough seas to reach the largest of the Aran Islands: Inishmore (or Inishmore). Since we're traveling in May, we dedicate our last day in Ireland to flowers: not far from the Wild Atlantic Way is a national park where 75% of Ireland's flowers grow, and there are also some strange rock formations. But we can't leave without visiting the famous Cliffs of Moher, which we can see from Doolin harbor before reaching the visitor center and walking the path that crowns the imposing cliffs, over 200 meters high. 🗺️ Our map of Ireland: https://www.inviaggiocoltubo.com/shop...
