Woke Up at 2:30AM for a Subscriber’s First Epoxy Garage Floor

I woke up at 2:30AM to drive to New Jersey to document a professional epoxy garage floor installation from start to finish. No shortcuts, no watered-down systems, just the real process most videos never show. This is the video I wish existed when I was starting out. If you want to rent equipment and do this yourself, this is exactly how it is done. This 650 sq ft garage was prepped using an electric grinder running off a 2,000 watt generator to achieve a true CSP 3 concrete surface profile. Proper mechanical prep is everything. It is what allows a coating system to bond correctly and last for years. This is the step most DIY videos skip entirely. The system was built in proper layers. A 93 percent solids epoxy primer went down first, followed by a 100 percent solids epoxy intermediate coat. The Carbon flake blend was then broadcast to full rejection across the entire floor. A clear polyaspartic topcoat finished the system for durability and chemical resistance. After the flake was broadcast, it cured overnight. The next day the floor was scraped, vacuumed, and finished with the final clear coat.
