HOBAO Hyper ST pro E conversion WORTH IT?

Is it a worthwhile project converting an older proven solid platform to brushless power like this old hyper st pro, over buying a new basher like the EREVO 2 from Traxxas or the Kraton V4 from Arrma? If you already have to electronics like I did then i think the answer is YES!!.... as the nitro ST cost me £100, motor mount, battery tray and receiver box £50 ish all in.... if you need to buy all the electronics then you have the option to go for what your budget allows... so go budget or quality... and pay over time?.... its an option worth consideration i think, especially if you enjoy the building side of the hobby! ;)
