But the secret was a terrifying machine called Enigma—a state-of-the-art encryption machine that helped the Nazis transmit military orders without anyone being able to decipher it (the code kept changing every day). ❌ At that time, everyone believed that Enigma was invincible. 📜 But then, a mathematical genius appeared… That was Alan Turing—the father of artificial intelligence. Turing didn’t hold a weapon. He didn’t go to war. But he had something more powerful than weapons: mathematics, more specifically, statistical probability. 🔢 What did Alan Turing and his team do at Bletchley Park? Instead of trying every single possibility of Enigma (there were millions upon millions of ways, almost impossible), Turing used probability to narrow down the search. 📊 Based on Bayes’ theorem, they updated the probability of each encryption solution based on what had been solved. If some familiar words like "Hitler" or "weather" appeared, Turing's team could tweak the algorithm to increase the likelihood of finding the correct decryption key. 💡 Each time a small code segment was solved correctly, the probability of the remaining decryptions changed. Step by step, step by step… Enigma was broken! 🚢 And the result? Thanks to statistical probability, the Allies deciphered the German attack plans. And in today's CONDITIONAL PROBABILITY (Part 1) topic, we will start with simple, basic examples, including: sample space, counting methods, events and how to calculate conditional probability. 📚 VIDEO CONTENT 📍Lesson 1: A piece of land is divided into two gardens: • Area M has 300 fruit trees, including 200 orange trees. • Area N has 400 fruit trees, including 250 orange trees.
