Vuelve la pesadilla para la familia de Publio Cordón

Barcelona, July 22 (EFE).- María Cordón, one of the daughters of businessman Publio Cordón, considers it a "scandal" that National Court Judge Javier Gómez released two of the suspects for her father's kidnapping on bail and states that the decision returns them "once again to the nightmare" and that "it's not right." In statements to EFE-TV, María Cordón stated that the family feels "hostage to the system, just like 17 years ago; once again we are a bargaining chip for internal squabbles or interpretations that have nothing to do with common sense or the work of the Civil Guard." María Cordón acknowledged that the judge's ruling, after taking statements from members of the GRAPO group Juan Antonio Ramón Teijelo and his partner Manuela Ontanilla, detained in Seville, and Vicente Sarasa, arrested in Cádiz, was a "tremendous blow" and a "cold shower." He released the latter two alleged kidnappers on bail. www.efe.com
