Jaguar S-Type 3.0 V6 Valve Cover Gaskets + Intake Gaskets + Denso Plugs & Lucas Coils | Part 10

Project S-Type – Part 10 In this episode I take on a proper “while you’re in there” job on my 2005 Jaguar S-Type 3.0 V6 Sport: replacing both cam cover (valve cover) gaskets, resealing the upper intake manifold, and refreshing the ignition system with Denso spark plugs and Lucas ignition coils. It didn’t go entirely to plan… I hit three seized M5 hex flange nuts holding various engine cover brackets, which ultimately needed to be cut/ground off to release everything. I also had a brass insert in the upper intake body seize onto an intake manifold bolt and couldn’t separate it, so I carefully screwed it back in during refit to get the manifold bolts installed and seated correctly.
