Solomon Grundy Tribute

Cyrus Gold was a feared and respected criminal from 1895 in Gotham City, when Gold refused to give in to blackmail they killed him. They buried Gold in the swamp, believing that no one would ever come looking for him. Over the course of fifty years, Gold's body began to interact with the decaying and bitter vegetation of the swamp. Through a process as yet unknown, Cyrus Gold's corpse transformed into a vegetative undead monstrosity giving him superhuman strength and longevity and who the world would soon know as Solomon Grundy.
