Billy Branch - My Baby Caught the Train
Billy Branch ha seguido un camino no tradicional en el blues. Billy nació en in Chicago en 1951 y creció en Los Angeles. Tomó por primera vez una armonica a la edad de diez años e inmediatamente comenzó a tocar melodías simples. Alcanzó el éxito en 1975 tras derrotar en una dura batalla de armónica a la leyenda del blues Little Mac Simmons en el Green Bunny Club. Hizo su primera grabación para Barrelhouse Records y comenzó a trabajar como aprendiz de armonicista en la banda de Willie Dixon y sus Chicago Blues All-Stars. Eventualmente reemplazó al fantástico Carey Bell y continuó trabajando con Dixon durante 6 años
