Snow, Slopes, Creek Crossings & “Expensive Dinosaur Juice” Mount Hood Overland Day in a Disco2+Jeeps

A full day overlanding and exploring around Mount Hood in Oregon with my 2004 Land Rover Discovery 2 and friends in Jeep Rubicons. We set out looking for snow, views, and a good time—and definitely got all three. Early in the day we climbed into snowy terrain, including a steep and icy side slope where we were starting to slide toward the edge of the trail. Safety first, we made the call to turn around and head down in elevation. From there the day got better and better: A peaceful lunch by a beautiful lake Exploring backroads and forest trails A stunning Mount Hood viewpoint overlooking the surrounding range Mud sections, creek crossings, and even a washed-out trail from a recent slide The video includes natural trail conversation in Hebrew (all participants are fluent), plus some experimental drone footage capturing the landscape and the rigs in action.
