Will NJ’s voter registration glitch hurt Democrats in future elections? | Reporters Roundtable

On Reporters Roundtable, Joanna Gagis talks with Colleen O’Dea with NJ Spotlight News, Matt Friedman with Politico and Charles Stile with The Record/USA Today Network. The panel of reporters discuss how Motor Vehicle Commission software improperly registered 6,600 noncitizens to vote between June 2023 and June 2024. About 400 of those individuals also voted in at least one election. Members of the Republican Party say they feel “vindicated” after alleging voter fraud over the years. The panel will look at all angles of this developing story as well as other news in New Jersey and the nation this week.
