Veteran Broadcaster Dies at 62`

Veteran radio personality Jacob William Maunda is dead. Maunda died on 16th August night of heart failure at the Kenyatta national hospital where he had been admitted. Maunda who also doubled up as a musician was one of the pioneer newscasters at the then voice of Kenya, now the Kenya broadcasting corporation. Until his death, Maunda was the deputy head of Musyi fm, one of the vernacular stations in the Royal Media Services stable, which broadcasts in the Kamba language.
