The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya crackdowns fake accountants

The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya has kick-started a countrywide crackdown to weed out unscrupulous practitioners to curb illegal accountancy firms that have been swindling money from unsuspecting Kenyans. According to ICPAK Compliance Officer Nebart Avutswa, accountancy firms operating without the necessary documentation will soon be brought to book, with 50 of them across the country already identified.
