Experience the digital sanctuary of the Living Paintings, an immersive space art is gently brought to life via handmade animation in gorgeous 4K. For this session, I focus on a single, profoundly beautiful and moving Catholic Gregorian Chant. St. Pier Giorgio Frassati was a man of immense vitality, joy, and profound dedication to serving the poor. He is highly venerated as the patron saint of students, young Catholics, and mountaineers, serving as a bright example of finding holiness in everyday adventures and ordinary struggles. Using a painting of St. Pier Giorgio as my canvas, inside DaVinci Resolve, I chose a highly minimalist approach, deliberately focusing all the movement on one single element: a beautiful halo rotating steadily behind his head. I meticulously animated this rotation frame-by-frame. By maintaining this deliberate, handmade approach, my goal is to give you an authentic, distraction-free sanctuary.
