Four fur a fiver
Documentary about Glasgow's Paddy' Market. Glasgow's Paddy's Market was established by Irish Immigrants c.1850. It has been situated in Shipbank Lane since 1935. Glasgow City Council is now proposing negotiations with owners Network Rail, in order to take over the lease of the arches and make the area an extension to the Merchant City Cultural Quarter. The film depicts the market today, and the traders' fight to keep what they consider an important part of Glasgow heritage. (Film made in May 2008, as part of my degree in visual communication at The Glasgow School of Art)
