Learning from a case a few months ago where a victim of a theft was named a suspect after taking the law into his own hands, resulting in the perpetrator's death, West Java Governor Kang Dedi Mulyadi KDM, also known as Bapak Aing, has launched a new breakthrough. He is offering a prize pool of Rp 5 million to Rp 50 million from his own pocket for residents who successfully apprehend perpetrators of street crimes such as muggings and snatchings. Supported by the West Java Regional Police, this initiative aims to revitalize the spirit of neighborhood watch (siskamling) and emphasizes the absolute requirement that perpetrators be handed over to the police alive and without mistreatment, to prevent residents from becoming entangled in legal issues in the future. • This video documents Kang Dedi Mulyadi's journey, the events recorded in the video between January and July 2026.
