CP Rail Expressway Trains SD40-2's Volume 1

Date: 2010 The CP Expressway train hauled truck trailers on articulated flatcars between Detroit, MI and Montreal, QC. During its busiest time, the train ran four times per day, two in each direction. In its final years the service was reduced to one train per day in each direction between Montreal, QC and Milton, ON, with service to Detroit being discontinued. It was the hottest thing on the rail between both points with everyone else stepping aside. Tight schedules and very little room for delays usually meant the engineers running these trains would have the hammer down! Even better that they were usually powered by SD40-2's! Most of the locations seen in this video are in Mississauga on the Galt Sub. CP ended the Expressway service back on June 1, 2018. Hope you enjoy the video!
