CLIMAT, LA NON-VIOLENCE À L’ÉPREUVE DE L’URGENCE - AVEC @FIFDH_Geneve

Support Blast, a new independent media outlet: https://www.blast-info.fr/soutenir Given the climate emergency and the mounting alarming reports, and with UN Secretary-General António Guterres declaring in 2023 that humanity faces an “existential threat,” how can we act? How can we divert this deadly trajectory? While several generations of environmental activists have emerged in recent decades, and even though many have achieved victories, it is clear that this is not enough. Our economic systems are more focused on production than ever, the ongoing destruction is accelerating, and, in parallel, democracies are eroding. In this context, what is the best way to respond? This was the question addressed at the Geneva International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights on March 14, 2026. This video is a recording of a debate entitled "Climate: Non-Violence in the Face of Emergency," organized following the screening of the documentary The System.
