"Humanity" was born out of a time when many people in our region watched the events in Stade with stunned silence. This song deliberately doesn't tell the story of the attack. Nor does it offer any answers about what happened. Instead, it reminds us of what is often most important in difficult moments: compassion, solidarity, and humanity. In recent days, there has been much discussion, speculation, and commentary. Sometimes, it's easy to forget that behind every headline are real people: families, friends, colleagues, whose lives changed forever in an instant. With this song, I want to take a different approach. Not to meet hate with hate. Not to judge before all the facts are known. But to pause for a moment and remember how important respect, empathy, and treating each other with humanity truly are. As the creator of "Hallo Norden," I usually share dry North German humor and stories from everyday life. This time, however, it was important to me to make a personal statement. Not as a news report, but as a musical thought-provoking piece. I hope this song connects people, offers comfort, and reminds us all to treat each other with more care.
