My favorite scene from Initial D

Keisuke meets Takumi before his battle with Nakazato What I like about this scene is just how compelling Keisuke's voice actor is. The line deliveries are spot on and really make you feel all the different emotions that Keisuke must be feeling in that moment. He's frustrated, not just because Takumi beat him and shattered his undefeated reputation but is now even more frustrated that Takumi claims he has no interest in street racing whatsoever. It's insulting to him because this is the person he lost to just a few days prior. Takumi's initial (d) unwillingness to battle Nakazato after being challenged is also disgraceful to Keisuke and that kind've nonchalant attitude towards the whole thing rivals Keisuke's seriousness. By the end of the conversation, he doesn't sound angry anymore. Just disappointed If we take a step back from it all, Takumi is right. It isn't really that serious, however, the way Keisuke's lines were delivered make you want to care about this as if it was the most important thing in the world, and to Keisuke it is. We don't really get passionate serious scenes like this past 3rd stage, but this is my all time favorite one from the series. Please share your thoughts in the comments below
