E76 Xavier Fabre - la coordination respiratoire
Xavier Fabre is a multi-talented artist: a cellist by training, a baritone, an actor, and a practitioner of breath coordination. For Xavier, the voice goes far beyond a simple means of communication. It is a powerful tool that can shape our perception of ourselves and the world around us. Xavier shares with us the importance of breath in vocal expression, as well as in artistic and therapeutic practices. After dedicating an episode to his mentor and teacher, Robin de Haas, it was a pleasure to record Xavier's experience last October. How has breath coordination enriched his personal and professional life? What observations has he made with the people he works with? And also to hear his reflections on the stage and the many interwoven dimensions of performance. Let yourself be carried away by Xavier's voice as he speaks to us of the profound connection between the use of the voice and our way of thinking.
