Leon Rhodes (10 March 1932 - 9 December 2017) is an influential country guitarist most known for his work with the Texas Troubadours and the Grand Ole Opry house band. As a member of the classic lineup of Ernest Tubb & the Texas Troubadours, Rhodes was a staple in the country genre. Rhodes has an incredible amount of recordings with many country legends such as Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Jean Shepard. Include the four decades in the Grand Ole Opry house band you get one of the most influential guitarist in history.
