This was my second viewing, and I managed to film the whole thing. 🐴✨ So I’ve been secretly on the lookout for the next superstar to join the team, and this video shows you exactly how that decision came to life. For my second trial, I was incredibly lucky to take Kiki to my trainer Simon Grieve’s yard for a proper lesson and to see how she handled a completely new environment — always such a key part of my trialling process. In this video, I’ll take you through how I approach trying horses, what I’m looking for when I test a potential new ride, and most importantly, what it was about Kiki that completely won me over. From her attitude and movement to how she felt under saddle, there were just some moments where I knew she might be the one.
