I went to see Punch-kun after a long time. He's grown so much, and his fur has lightened, making him a little harder to spot, but his cuteness is still there!! This video showcases some funny and cute scenes of Punch-kun, a Japanese macaque at Ichikawa City Zoological Park. 🤗 (All footage is completely original, filmed by myself and some by my partner. I went to see Punch-kun, the baby monkey at Ichikawa City Zoological Park whose "mother is a stuffed animal"! Who is Punch-kun, the Japanese macaque attracting worldwide attention? He was born in July 2025 and abandoned by his mother shortly after. He was then raised by zookeepers through artificial feeding, always clinging to an IKEA orangutan plush toy (nicknamed "Orang-mama") as he grew up. He was returned to the group in January 2026 and is working hard every day to fit in.
