Thank You Rob Dahm FD RX7 Idle fixed with Double throttle Re-enabled

It has been a popular mod for 20+ years to disable and/or remove the double throttle control system in the FD RX7, me included. I have always removed it in the past for one reason or another (high HP build or something broke.) Many report no change in vehicle operation when they remove this and I used to be one of those people. This is such a small difference many people may not care about the affect but for me with a 100% stock car (besides a catback) I expect the car to run just like stock after my restoration process. There has been a strange idle issue only on cold starts that should not be there on a factory car so this hung heavily in the back of my mind that there wasn't something right. It may be minor to many people and possibly not noticeable but what little you can see in the Tach fluctuation, you can feel in the seat of the car as it rocks with the oscillations. I can't help but to think, maybe disabling this system also plays a part in why so many people foul plugs so frequently even on mildly modified cars if it isn't getting the correct mixture at idle with the system disabled. The differences people don't notice vs what I notice may also be due to this being a JDM RHD car. USDM cars are equipped with a AWS (Accelerated warmup System) which is meant to heat up the pre-cat as quickly as possible. This system bumps the cold idle up significantly. Since JDM cars do not have this cat, they do not have this system so the cold idle will be different USDM vs JDM.
