1982 KONE Dewhurst V-Series inground hydraulic elevator (AE 02) @ Herttoniemi metro station, HKI, FI

Filmed on 7.10.2012. This is elevator AE 02 at Herttoniemi metro station. This elevator is main entrance elevator. The elevator had no actual floor numbering, just signs "Metro" and "Exit" and arrows up and down back then but now metro level is considered as M and exit level as U. Indicators showed the progress of moving elevator. The elevator has two rectangular windows. Exit level has restrooms, R-Kioski Herttoniemi kiosk store and exit A to Hiihtomäentie and bus platforms 7 to 10 and exit B to bus platforms 1 to 6. This elevator has been modernized by KONE in 2019. KONE modernized doors, buttons, indicators and refurbished interior. Helsinki metro was opened on 2.8.1982.
