Part one of our journey from Puerto Vallarta to Zipolite, Oaxaca. We settle into our little paradise, wander through town, soak up the beach life, eat incredible food, and end up at one of Zipolite’s famously clothing-optional bars… all while trying not to completely melt in the insane coastal heat. This trip feels nostalgic, surreal, peaceful, chaotic, and strangely healing all at once. After more than 30 years away, returning to Zipolite has been something I can’t fully explain yet… but this is the beginning of that story.
