Meeting up with so many like minded runners, particularly those within the Wii Series and Mario communities is an experience I will never forget, and one I would like to add to by attending future events! In terms of the run, let's be honest, the actual final time of the run was pretty poor, not hiding behind that. However this was my first time doing an IRL marathon and the first time Wii Sports had ever been featured, so I was entirely unaware of how the game would play in a different environment. It was mostly fine, but particularly in golf as the run progressed, the delay got worse and worse, which made doing golf basically impossible towards the end. It might be good to keep in mind for the future to have shorter categories for Wii Sports, as the starts of sports were really good! But the main thing is, I couldn't really care about the final time, as I got to show off SO much cool stuff about the game at a competitive level and I think it was a great advertisement for the game!
