2016 Kia Rio LX Review

Here are my thoughts on the 2016 Kia Rio LX with the 1.6L inline 4, and six speed automatic transmission: Some people's interactions with cars are just from point A to point B. I am not one of those people. To me a car needs to be it's own being, a soul. Ironically Kia even made a car named the Soul. But this Kia, does not have soul. The Kia Rio means no more to me than a kitchen blender, or bathroom soap dispenser. It does a job and nothing more. That is the fault with the Rio, It's gutless. It doesn't make you feel anything. This car is dull, numb, and destine for a life of rental car abuse, and teen drivers. The things I enjoyed in the Rio are limited. I liked the physical hand brake, as well as the audio input options on the radio. Thats where my enjoyment stopped. The steering was numb. The power was sluggish. The interior disappointed me. There are only three reasons you would buy this car: 1. You have a new driver and want them to be safe but not be able to beat a man on a schwin 12speed bicycle in a race. 2. You commute short distances and otherwise never leave your home. 3. You are above the age of 65 and only leave the house once a week to shop at jewel for coffee cake and hearing aid batteries If you do not fit into one of those category, steer clear of this car. You'd be better walking.
