EXPLORING VALENCIA DURING LAS FALLAS FESTIVAL - Mascleta, Central Market, Churros & Miguelete

Las Fallas Festival in Valencia is one of the biggest Fiestas in all Spain, so when visiting this amazing city in March 2018 we made sure to check it out! Among all of the other top attractions here as well of course. We start of by visiting the Central Market (Mercado Central) for some food, a great spot to pick up some Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese! Its a great place to get a real feel of the Valencian Community and we love it. Then of to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the old Silk Market (Lonja de la Seda), Plaza Redondo and a quick look at the narrowest building in all of Europe (and maybe finding some Churros along the way). Before making our way up the bell tower (El Miguelete) next to the Cathedral, where you have a full 360 degree view over all of Valencia Old Town. Finally we head to Plaza Del Ayuntamiento where Mascleta takes place every day at 2pm in the run up to Las Fallas Festival! The fireworks and firecrackers were incredible and the whole atmosphere was really something!
