Accreditation is compatible with all teachers – permanent, non-permanent, contracted and candidates for contracting – but must be done by link of interest. It is vital to remember that confirmation of participation, essential to proceed to the next steps, ends on the 5th. If you are outside the program or are applying for a new management role, the interview is MANDATORY. Please note: the deadline for interviews is December 16th, a procedure managed by the interview committee in the Regional Education Units (UREs). Are you already in the PEI and have been indicated for continued participation (whether with a Green Light or Yellow Light, or even without a light)? You do not need accreditation to continue where you are, avoiding unnecessary noise and worries. But the key to this process is the PRIORITY in the allocation of vacancies. Vacancies will be offered in full, initially, to permanent staff (permanent and non-permanent) and appointed staff who have opted for PEI units, provided they have been indicated for continued participation in that school unit. Teachers who are already working in the PEI and have been well evaluated have priority in being served because they are already in the program, to the detriment of those coming from outside. Remember, however, that this priority does not guarantee a position in the unit if there is no compatibility with your training. After the permanent staff and transfer process, the contracted employee indicated for permanence will be attended to at the school unit level. And pay close attention to Relocation and Transfer of UA. Relocation only occurs ONCE for permanent and non-permanent employees indicated for non-permanence. These individuals must undergo interviews, and if validated, they will work in a unit different from the one where non-permanence was indicated. If it is the second time that the teacher is indicated to leave, they will be transferred to a part-time unit, thus terminating the program. Contracted employees indicated for non-permanence are not relocated and follow the law governing temporary contracts. Transfer, intended only for permanent and non-permanent teachers, is a time to request a change between units of the program at the URE level. This choice only materializes with your participation and, if confirmed, is IRREVOCABLE, as the next day your position will be made available to another group. To participate, it is essential to have the director's approval, who has the authority to limit the number of declarations issued to maintain the minimum staff and the pedagogical proposal. For those who do not wish to remain in the program in 2026, even if well evaluated (what we call UA Transfer or change of administrative unit), it is crucial to formalize the desire in writing and register the future cessation in the system, so that the teacher is not blocked from being assigned part-time classes in January.
