Florida Woman Arrested After Refusing Trespass Warning at Athletic Club

Palm Beach County, Florida – On January 10, 2026, officers responded to reports of a disturbance involving two individuals at a local athletic club. According to staff, the two women had been inside the facility for an extended period of time and appeared to be intoxicated. Employees reported multiple disruptions, including an incident in which one of the women became ill in the hot tub area. After several requests for the women to leave the property were unsuccessful, management requested that officers issue trespass warnings to both individuals. When officers informed the women of the trespass warnings and the requirement to leave the property, one of the women became increasingly argumentative and continued causing a disturbance near the front desk area. After officers provided multiple warnings that failure to comply would result in arrest for trespass after warning, officers attempted to take her into custody. During the arrest, the woman actively resisted officers' efforts to secure her in handcuffs, resulting in all parties falling to the ground during the struggle. Investigators reported that she struck an officer with her foot during the incident before officers were able to gain control and escort her from the property. While being placed into a patrol vehicle, the woman allegedly continued resisting by pulling away, screaming, and refusing to enter the vehicle. Officers further reported that she kicked at officers multiple times during the process. She was ultimately charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting an Officer with Violence, Trespass After Warning, and Disorderly Intoxication. This body camera footage documents the officers' response, investigation, and subsequent arrest.
