Many people long for a miracle from God, but few are willing to change their lives. The Lord doesn't just see our needs; He also sees our hearts. True repentance isn't about feeling sorry for the consequences of sin, but about recognizing that we have offended God and sincerely deciding to return to Him. A repentant heart seeks confession, abandons sin, and embarks on a path of conversion. When there is true repentance, the heart opens to God's grace. Then the Lord acts, heals, restores, and transforms our lives. God never rejects those who approach Him with humility and a sincere desire to change. If you yearn for a miracle, begin by letting God perform the first and greatest one of all: transforming your heart. A converted heart is ready to receive the blessings the Lord has in store. As Scripture says, “A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise” (Psalm 51:17). Today, ask yourself: Am I only seeking a miracle, or am I also willing to experience true repentance?
