Marklin M84 Decoder Part 2: adding Circuit Tracks

Unboxing and explanation of the basic functions of the Marklin Circuit Tracks. It is best to watch Part 1 first:    • Marklin M84 Decoder Part 1: Unboxing and B...   We show you how the Circuit Track works, and how you can connect it directly to a M-84 decoder from Marklin. We do this by using the 8 inputs on the "topside" of the M-84, for manually switching the relays (similar to the 7244 universal relay). These inputs on the "topside" of the decoder can be activated by push button switches, contact tracks, reed-switches and more. They allow an analog activation of the particular port on the decoder, much like activating a relay in the old days. The advantage is that you will not need feedback decoders (S-88) for this to work. The disadvantage is that the CS3 will not be used. You are bypassing it and it will be "unaware" of the position of the M-84. If you need the CS3 to be included in this cycle, you will need to route the Circuit Track wires to a S-88. That's good material for another video!
