History of Freestyle Music presents D'Zyre at Alcatrazz Chicago - 1991 from Harv Roman's Vault

Troy Guy and Andrea Salazar comprised of the Chicago Freestyle Pop group D'Zyre, who scored with the DJ International hit "Forever Amor", which was quickly picked up by Atlantic Records and made the Billboard Dance music charts. "Forever Amor" was first released as a test pressing featuring Troy Guy and Erik Gorder as InEffect in Chicago. That recording made an incredible impact in the hotmix shows and in local radio, but before In Effect could formally release the song, Troy and Erik parted ways, with Troy creating D'Zyre and Erik keeping the In Effect name and releasing a couple of songs which made some local noise on the independant Rio Records.
