Today, Mega experienced something new—giving Chucky, the baby monkey, his first bath. She started by preparing warm water, using part of it to make Chucky's milk and the rest to create a comfortable bath temperature so he would feel safe and relaxed. As it was Mega's first time bathing a baby monkey, she handled Chucky with great patience and care. Gentle handling is especially important for young primates, as it helps reduce stress and keeps them comfortable during routine care. After bath time, Mega fed Chucky his milk before preparing food for the other baby monkeys. Providing proper nutrition, warmth, and attentive care is an essential part of supporting healthy growth and development during the early stages of a young monkey's life.
