A Masterclass with Dónal Lunny & Paddy Glackin UCD Creative Futures Academy & UCD School of Irish, Celtic studies and Folklore were delighted to bring together two Irish music legends and long-time collaborators Dónal Lunny & Paddy Glackin for a masterclass. Watch the video for a glimpse 'behind the curtain' with two masters of traditional music engaged in a deep discussion. Dónal Lunny is the Musician in Residence with the UCD Creative Futures Academy. He has been involved with some of the most innovative bands to emerge from Ireland since the 1970s, including Planxty, the Bothy Band, Moving Hearts, Coolfin, and more recently Mozaik. He has toured across the world, collaborating with musicians of many different cultures. Paddy Glackin is one of Ireland's leading traditional fiddle players and a founding member of the Bothy Band.
