Hey everyone, today's video is unfortunately our last one from Brandenburg for a while. For our final trip, we visited an old barracks. During the GDR era, it developed into one of the regiment's most important locations. In addition to training its own units, training courses for international allies were also held here. Among the most well-known participants were officers from Iraq under Saddam Hussein and cadres of the PLO. With the end of the GDR and the fall of the Berlin Wall, the guard regiment was disbanded in 1990, and its military use ceased. In the 1990s, attempts were made to revitalize the site with a rest stop, a hotel, and various commercial projects. However, many of these projects were later abandoned.
