To walk around the entire area where the Combine is located, it would probably take a whole day. In this place, during World War II, explosives were produced, which were later used to fill bombs, torpedoes and ammunition. Hence the assumption that all these buildings should be located far from each other. If one exploded, which apparently happened frequently, the others could continue to operate unaffected by the explosion. I was interested in DAG tanks from the very beginning. It is difficult to say clearly what happened there and what could have been stored here, because the Germans, when escaping in 1945, took all the documentation with them. But it is assumed that they served as a methanol storage site. They are also furthest away from other buildings and have a conical shape. This, in turn, may indicate that whatever was inside them could explode at any moment. The distance was to help prevent other buildings from being destroyed, and the shape was to help direct the force of a potential explosion upwards as much as possible.
