The Parterre: Episode 8 – The Rose Garden | Gardener in Love

Welcome back to The Parterre. After falling in love with the rose gardens we visited at Kew Gardens, the Chelsea Flower Show, and Portland’s International Rose Test Garden, we knew roses needed a place in our own garden. In this episode, we create The Rose Garden: a new planting within The Parterre designed around six exceptional roses. We’re adding three Bloomables roses—including the all-new Martha Stewart Rose—alongside three David Austin varieties, each selected for its bloom color, form, fragrance, and place in the overall design. We walk through the varieties, share why each one earned a spot in the garden, and plant them in their new home.
