In fact, this technique is understandable, I tried to do the same, but it’s still worth getting your hands on, starting with the simplest things, only after that move on to more complex instances. I want to show you another technique. You can not only weave paper tubes, but also glue them together to create beautiful boxes, baskets, and drawers. Punnet. Master class. Preparation. To make it, you need to make tubes of two sizes. For a wide one, I took a knitting needle with a diameter of 6 mm and consumer paper. There is one sheet for one tube. The sheet was rolled straight along the long side. I secured the edge with glue (stationery glue or PVA will do). For a narrow tube, the sheet was cut in half along the long side, then twisted obliquely onto a thin knitting needle. I cut the wide tubes into pieces 10, 9. 8, 7, 6, 5 cm long. Then I glued them together, starting with the largest size 10 cm and ending with the smallest 5 cm. Then I continued in ascending order. The bottom edge should be smooth. For leveling it is convenient to use a lined rubber mat. I made two of these stripes. Here you need to make sure that if you start with a strip of 10 cm, then you end with a strip of 9 cm, so that at the end, when you close the circle, everything matches the pattern. In the middle there will be a zigzag strip of pieces of tubes, 5 cm long. Now you need to wait until the glue is completely dry. The next stage is connecting the strips into one web. To do this, I laid out the strips and connected the strips using narrow tubes. There are 2 narrow tubes going through one hole. Finally, I applied a drop of glue to the joints. I cut off the extra tubes from both edges. I rolled the flat fabric and glued the edges together. I cut out a circle from cardboard, put it inside and glued it in the same way. The basket was coated with acrylic varnish on all sides. This basket can be made of any size and any height. If desired, it can be painted.
