Abhisheka to Vishwaguru Srila Prabhupada | Sri Brahmotsava 2026 | ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill

Today’s festivities include nitya puja, Brahmotsava yajna, and an elaborate abhisheka to Srila Prabhupada's achala shila murti. In the evening, a Kalyanotsava will be held for Sri Rajagopala, Rukmini, and Satyabhama. His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is the Founder-Acharya of the worldwide Hare Krishna Movement. Following the order of his guru His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, Srila Prabhupada set out to America in 1965, at the age of 69, to spread the teachings of Lord Krishna, and established the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). He travelled extensively throughout the world, delivered hundreds of lectures, had discussions with distinguished personalities, wrote many books on the science of Krishna consciousness and opened 108 Krishna temples within a span of 12 years. His life and teachings have transformed countless people, inspiring them to accept Krishna consciousness for a happy, healthy and peaceful life. About Sri Brahmotsava 2026: ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill, Vasanthapura, celebrates the annual Sri Brahmotsava festival from 25 to 28 June 2026. This festival commemorates the auspicious appearance of the presiding Deities on Vaikuntha Hill: Sri Radha Krishnachandra, Sri Jagannatha Baladeva Subhadra, Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Rajadhiraja Govinda, Sri Rajalakshmi Padmavathi, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha, Sri Sudarshana Narasimha, and Srila Prabhupada. Since 2013, numerous devotees have been offering services to Their Lordships on the Vaikuntha Hill and receiving Their divine blessings. The four spiritually vibrant days of Brahmotsava celebrations will be filled with devotion, joy, and sacred observances. The festivities feature elaborate abhisheka ceremonies for all Deities, magnificent Pallakki Utsavas, the divine kalyanotsava, theppotsava, and other significant, sacred rituals.
