GOD WORKS MIRACLES! | Gospel of the Day - Saturday, June 27, 2026 Do you believe that just one word from Jesus is enough to change everything? In this Saturday's Gospel, a Roman officer approaches Jesus and asks for the healing of his servant, who was suffering terribly. Faced with Jesus' response, he makes one of the greatest professions of faith in the Gospel: “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” That man recognized that Jesus didn't need to be physically present in his house to perform the miracle. His Word was enough. His authority was enough. His grace was enough. In this reflection, we will meditate on the Roman officer's faith, his trust in Jesus' Word, and the certainty that God can act even when everything seems distant, difficult, or impossible. God works miracles.
