Ajax are the biggest and most successful football club in the Netherlands, and among the biggest and most successful in Europe, having won the Champions League or European Cup more times than Manchester United and Juventus. In 2019, Ajax were seconds away from another Champions League final, but now the club sits 14th in the Eredivisie, they just lost the biggest game in Dutch football 4-0 against Feyenoord, in a match which had to be abandoned due to supporter unrest, and a major crisis has ensued.
