Exploring Iligan City. The City of Majestic Waterfalls.

I like coming back to Iligan City. It is the City of Majestic Waterfalls. At least 24 of them. The best way to explore these waterfalls is with a local guide. This we did, and we visited the breathtaking Tinago Falls (with 355 steps to go down, and then up) and the beautiful Mimbalut Falls (where we couldn't resist taking a dip). We were not able to visit Maria Cristina Falls because access to the falls is still being rehabilitated after the typhoon several years back. We were also able to explore the city attractions such as its plaza and the St. Michael's Cathedral. And no visit to Iligan is complete without sampling its famous lechon!
