Wales empfängt uns mit herrlichem Wetter

Wales by Motorhome - Part 1 Narrow roads, high hedges, driving on the left, and bad weather? None of that deterred us. We set off for Wales. On Friday, April 26, 2024, we left at midday and arrived in Belgium late that evening. There, we spent the night at a quiet Park4Night campsite and on Saturday morning drove to Calais, where we took the ferry to Dover. We spent our first night at a pub through BritStops (the English equivalent of a country getaway), where we enjoyed delicious fish and chips. The Four Waterfalls Walks hike turned out to be more strenuous than expected. At the same time, the scenery more than made up for it, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breathtaking landscapes, ruined castles, and a welcoming country awaited us. We were particularly impressed by the ruined Tintern Abbey, which won't be the only one we visit on our trip. We're excited to see what else we experience and look forward to sharing it with you. Thank you so much for all your helpful tips beforehand.
